Basically the above talks about how to figure you BMR ask REE. As I explained before this is what your Basal Metoblic Rate or Resting Energy Expenditure. This is the bare minimum you need to survive all day!
Take your Weight and Divide it by 2.2 = your weight in Kilograms. Then find your age group above and calculate. Men are on the top and women are on the bottom.
Above is your TDEE aka Total Daily Energy Expenditure. Typically if you are looking to lose weight you want to stay 10-20% under this number but above your BMR
