I've done it!


 I started my Healthy Living Journey at 163.2 pounds. I was depressed, and always pissed off. I was not me. When I would ask people if I looked okay they would say "yeah, you look fine".  Well they lied! I looked in the mirror and took a picture, what I saw was not "fine".  I knew at that moment I need to change.

I made a promise to myself that I would stick to my goal this time. I also told myself that this had to be a lifestyle change and NOT just a diet.  Personally, diets do not work. I feel restricted and starved! I make healthier choices and I work out 6 days a week. I give myself ONE cheat day to eat whatever I want and not feel bad about it.

July 16 2012 - this day I will NEVER forget. This is the day I took charge of my life, I took control, I made the decision for me. I have never felt so proud of myself (beside giving birth!) I am just a "normal" girl. I have a full time job, a husband and young daughter. I stopped making excuses and starting making changes.

There is no secret diet plan or magic pill that will get you the results you are looking for.  It's all about HARD work and dedication. You have to want it.  Stop talking about it and do it!  Get off your booty and get to work.  I can say this because I was that person that would always say "I need to workout" "I'm fat" etc.. Talking burns ZERO Calories and gets you ZERO results!!!

Please take my story and let it inspire you and motivate you. I am here to show everyone that you do not have to step in a gym and work out 10 hours a day to get results.  I workout at home with my 19 month old and I eat healthy foods. That is it. That is my "secret".  Take it and run with it.
